Teletype is built for quick access and long sessions. If something feels less than obvious, start here.
Use Connections to add an SSH terminal or VNC remote desktop. Save host, username, authentication, and display settings so the next session starts cleanly.
Tap to click, drag with one finger to pan when zoomed, pinch to zoom, and use two fingers to scroll the remote desktop region.
Terminal settings include themes, fonts, cursor style, key repeat, selection behavior, keyboard controls, and custom Ghostty theme imports.
Picture in Picture keeps a running terminal or VNC session visible while you use other apps. It works best when a session is active before leaving Teletype.
iCloud sync can keep connections, settings, themes, and keychain-backed secrets available across your devices.
Send feedback, issues, or questions to support@teletype.sh. Include your device, iOS or iPadOS version, and the connection type when reporting a session problem.
