Real Picture in Picture

Keep an eye on the machine.

Leave a live terminal or remote desktop visible while you read instructions, answer a message, or move through another app. The session stays useful without taking over the screen.

Optional iCloud sync

Set it up once. Find it everywhere.

Sync saved connections, appearance, themes, and remote-desktop defaults across your iPhone and iPad. Keychain credentials remain a separate choice you control.

Good to know

Before you connect.

What can Teletype connect to?

SSH and Mosh servers, SFTP servers and NAS storage, Windows computers that host RDP, and Mac, Linux, or other desktops that provide compatible VNC access.

Does Teletype provide remote access to my computer automatically?

No. The destination must already provide SSH, SFTP, RDP, or VNC, and it must be reachable from your iPhone or iPad through the network or VPN you use.

Which devices are supported?

Teletype is designed for iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 26 or later. A native Mac version is not part of the current app.

Where can I get help?

Visit Teletype Support for connection guidance or email support@teletype.sh with the protocol, device, and OS version.
