Privacy Policy
No tracking. No selling. No little marketing circus.
Teletype is a native SSH terminal and VNC remote desktop client. It connects to the servers and desktops you configure. Your remote sessions are not our product.

Data collection
Teletype does not track you and does not sell your data. The app privacy manifest declares no collected data types.
Connections and credentials
Teletype stores the connection details you choose to save so the app can open SSH and VNC sessions. Credentials are handled as keychain-backed secrets. Leave a saved password blank when editing a connection to keep the current credential.
iCloud sync
When iCloud sync is enabled, Teletype can sync connections, settings, themes, and keychain-backed secrets across your devices using your Apple account. You can turn sync-related features off from Settings.
Network traffic
SSH and VNC traffic goes to the hosts you configure. Teletype does not operate a relay service for your sessions. Your network, server, VPN, or remote desktop provider may have their own logs and policies.
